Wastewater is on the agenda for tonight’s Grand Blanc Township board meeting. A presentation by John O’Brien of the Genesee County Drain Commissioner’s office will highlight the countywide need for nearly $120 million in improvements, which include $10 million in immediate needs. Boards across the county have voted recently on the litany of project improvements and upgrades.

The exhaustive laundry list of items include two new water storage facilities one on Center Road and another Fenton Road, both carrying price tags around $5 million. The Center Road Facility would be a one million gallon storage tank with a 30 inch main pipe and is expected to cost $4.76 million. The new Fenton Road facility will consist of a pumping station, and a two million gallon storage tank and carries is expected to cost $5.56 million.

The meeting will be carried on zoom and can be accessed by clickinghere.
