Excessive rainfall ahead

A good amount of rainfall can be expected over the next several days in a row which will allow us to pick up an estimated 3 to 4 inches of rain by the beginning of next week. Due to it being overall dry for this time of year, there will be some flooding concerns over grassy areas and agricultural fields where water may have a hard time getting into the ground. Flooding will also become likely for areas with poor drainage or no drainage where water can easily collect. Luckily, we will have some room to breathe between showers and thunderstorms. This rainfall event will not happen all at once, but instead over the span of days with multiple rounds of rain each day. Temperatures overall will hover around the upper 70's to low 80's as we move ahead.
