The National Weather Service in Detroit, a mixed weekend overall with some rain, clouds and sunshine highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s with an occasional thunder-shower. Thursday showers are likely in the later afternoon, otherwise, partly sunny early with a high of 76 and breezy winds out of the southeast at over 10 m.p.h., and gusts up to 24 m.p.h.
Thursday night showers are likely again with a low around 56 and winds sustained at 13, skies will be cloudy and thunderstorms off and on. Chance of rain will be 70 percent. Rain amounts up to a quarter of an inch. Possible pockets of higher amounts affected by the occasional heavy thunderstorm.
Chances for showers decrease Friday but rain still possible. Chance of precipitation 40 percent, otherwise partly cloudy with highs near 68 degrees and south winds 15-18 m.p.h., and gusts up to 30. Friday night will be mostly cloudy and a low of 52 degrees.
Saturday will also be partly sunny with showers possible after 2 p.m., and a high of 72 degrees, and a chance of rain at 50 percent. Saturday night more showers, otherwise mostly cloudy and 50.
Sunday, more showers and cooler, with highs struggling to reach 60, and Sunday night mostly cloudy and lows around 46.
Sunday’s cooling trend will last early into the workweek before a warming trend mid-week.
