Rain and scattered thunderstorm chances this week

By Forecaster Joel Robinson

There will be plenty of rain and thunderstorm chances this week with temperatures also cooling to the low 80’s. Here are the details.

Monday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 PM. Highs in the low to mid 80’s.

Tuesday: Showers likely with thunderstorms possible after 2 PM. Rainfall amounts of up to a quarter of an inch. Otherwise, partly sunny with highs in the low 80’s.

Wednesday: Showers with thunderstorms possible. Rainfall amounts of up to a tenth of an inch. Highs in the low 80’s.

Thursday: Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms. Otherwise, partly sunny with highs in the low 80’s.

Fortunately, there will be some room to breathe between the times that it rains, but we’re expecting mainly wet conditions this week. We’re also looking cooler which will be a nice relief from the hot temperatures from this weekend.
